Vodafone Live at The Chapel returns

The sixth series of Vodafone Live at The Chapel will return on Monday 16 July with a new, unique TV and mobile format, taking fans behind the scenes and bringing them closer to their favourite artists than ever before.

Tony McGinn, Executive Producer of the series and CEO of mcm entertainment said “For the first time, we’ll not only be broadcasting the performances, but we’ll be taking fans behind the scenes, with a unique new storytelling element interwoven with the artist’s original music performances”

Launching the series next Monday will be much loved songstress Missy Higgins, performing songs from her latest album On A Clear Night, as well as her hit new single, Where I Stood. Fans can stream her performance live and for free at 8pm on their Vodafone 3G mobiles and online via www.vodafoneliveatthechapel.com or later, on Channel 7, Nova and MTV.

Over the coming months, Missy will be followed by some of the world’s finest acts, including maverick John Butler Trio on Monday 23 July, songsmith extraordinaire, Josh Pyke on Tuesday 31 July, and independent dance phenomenon, Sneaky Sound System on August 1. In addition, Vodafone has super charged its 3G network, launching mobile broadband in major capital cities. This means fans can now experience super fast live music streaming speeds on their mobile phones or online.

Vodafone Live at The Chapel is widely regarded as Australia’s premier live music show, a way to get seriously up close and personal with some of the hottest artists around. The show is
digitally recorded in a High Definition five camera shoot and 5.1 surround sounds, ensuring outstanding sound and visual quality.

With new broadcast partners, Channel 7 and Nova, the series is set to be an even bigger hit this season. Vodafone Live at The Chapel series six kicks off on Channel 7 on Sundays at 10.30am from September 9 for six weeks. Live tracks from the performances will air on Nova. It will also screen on MTV with details to be confirmed soon.
