Tik Tok Boom! Ke$ha storms Sydney with a ferocious Take 40 Live performance

LA electro pop sensation Ke$ha brought the house down in a flurry of gold glitter at her Take 40 Live performance last night at the Entertainment Quarter. Her performance was the latest in a series of free live concerts presented by Australia’s iconic music countdown.

The night began in fine style with a pumped up set from Aussie dance stars The Rogue Traders, fronted by new singer Mindi Jackson.

To the delight of the 2,000 plus crowd, Ke$ha then hit the stage, dressed head to toe in a tight fitting All-American bodysuit – and with attitude to burn…

Fans sang along word for word, as Ke$ha delivered the hits from her album ‘Animal’, including No.1 ARIA hit ‘Tik Tok’ and new single ‘Blah Blah Blah’. Her unique take on LA party life continued with ‘Party At Rich Dudes House' and ‘Dinosaur’ – but it was her roaring rendition of 'Tik Tok' that pushed the performance into the red, as the moshing crowd were showered in glitter.

Celebrities who joined the Take 40 Live crowd included Nacho Pop, Erika Heynatz, Danny Clayton, Renee Bargh, Jane Gazzo, James Tobin, Kyle Linahan, and Billy Russell.
