Getting the party started and taking Aussies on a beat-fuelled party-crawl every Saturday night, new radio show, Party People, hits airwaves across the country from Saturday 5th December.
Featuring an impressive Party People Crew including Australia’s No.1 female R&B DJ, Havana Brown, Charli Delaney, Chris Page, Lizzy Lovette and resident DJ Special Ed, Party People will blast out the beats every Saturday night, from 6pm – midnight (ESDT).
Produced by mcm media and broadcast across Austereo’s TODAY Network, each show will provide the ultimate Saturday-night soundtrack featuring the hottest pop, R&B and dance party anthems, ‘old skool’ classics and exclusive remixes.
“In collaboration with Austereo, it’s great to be launching a new program for Saturday night across Australia. Party People will really get listeners set for a huge Saturday night party whether they’re staying in or going out,” said Simon Joyce, CEO of mcm media.
As well as the hottest party tracks around, Party People will feature live crosses from the most happening events, house parties and festivals, tip-offs for the hottest clubs and parties of the weekend, listener shout-outs and caller requests.
“Party People boasts a great bunch of very talented hosts with the Party People Crew, and we know our TODAY listeners are going to be impressed with this new show,” said Craig Bruce, National Content Operations Manager for Austereo.
Party People keeps the party going all week online at www.mypartypeople.com.au, where listeners can check out the weekend’s best party pics from all over country, upload their own photos, request tracks, find the latest festival and gig information and enter killer ticket giveaways.
Gaming guru Ubisoft® has aligned its dynamic new dance game JUST DANCETM with the show’s launch.
“Available exclusively for the Wii™, JUST DANCETM is the ultimate dance game for people who want to have fun – and Party People is a perfect fit as the show is made for listeners who appreciate feel-good music and like to move!” said Edward Fong, Managing Director of Ubisoft®.
JUST DANCETM will be principal sponsor of the Party People program for the show’s launch. The strong audience synergies between the two products will allow Ubisoft® to communicate the ‘JUST DANCETM‘ message right across the nation with a highly engaged and relevant audience.
The first Party People show will air from 6pm – midnight (EDST) on Saturday 5th December on Austereo’s TODAY Network, including 2Day FM in Sydney, FOX FM in Melbourne, B105 in Brisbane, SA FM in Adelaide and 92.9 in Perth, plus a broad network of regional stations right across Australia.
