It’s almost here – Aussies’ VIP pass to the hottest music city in the world! On 6th December, Andrew G will be joined by special guests and international superstars Snoop Dogg and Jared Leto as he launches ‘The Hot Hits Live from LA’ presented by Optus on Australia’s airwaves.
Live and direct from star-studded LA on a Saturday night, The Hot Hits Live from LA with Andrew G, will air across the nation every Sunday afternoon, from 2pm (EDST).
Produced by mcm media, The Hot Hits Live from LA will feature four hours of the hottest hits, biggest superstars and latest celebrity gossip, all mashed up into one hugely entertaining show. Broadcast across Austereo’s Today Network and regional partners, online at www.thehothits.com and on Optus mobile, this is Australia’s access all areas pass to the home of Hollywood.
Kicking off the first show, Andrew gets up close with Snoop Dogg and Jared Leto, plus reality TV star Kendra.

As well as in-studio interviews and performances every week, a roving reporter will be delivering the ‘LA Lowdown’ - the inside scoop straight from the streets, celebrity haunts, music and movie events of LA. The ‘VIP Sleaze Report’ will be first with the scandalous stories making tomorrow’s headlines. If it’s bizarre, funny, entertaining or glam – and it’s happening on a Saturday night in LA – this show will be covering it live.

Direct from their mobiles, customers will be able to purchase tracks, tones and music videos, as well as a weekly ‘artist of the week’ review that details news on their latest releases, upcoming tour information and the inside scoop on what they’ve been up to.
Andrew G wraps up on Take 40 Australia on 28th November, before heading to Hollywood to take on the new gig. Across the summer, Tim & Biggsy and a host of superstars will bring listeners the legendary Take 40 show, until a new host is appointed the starring role of the nation’s biggest countdown.
The premiere program of the The Hot Hits Live from LA presented by Optus will air from
2pm-6pm (EDST) on Sunday 6th December on Austereo’s Today Network, including 2Day FM in Sydney, FOX FM in Melbourne, B105 in Brisbane, SA FM in Adelaide and 92.9 in Perth, and a broad network of regional stations across Australia. The show will be available on Optus Mobile from Tuesday 8th December.
