Big news at Take 40®Australia as the stars step behind the mic and take40.com gets a makeover

If you happen to catch James Ash of Rogue Traders fame counting down Australia’s top 40 songs on the radio this weekend, never fear – our favourite music guru and host of Take 40 Australia Andrew G is on holidays and the stars are offering a helping hand.

Delta Goodrem and Jesse McCartney will also turn radio DJ for a day when they host the nationally syndicated Take 40 Australia radio show. Listeners can expect the usual treats including new artist interviews, fresh new tracks and big competitions but this time, presented by the artists themselves!

Delta will record the show from L.A. where she’s currently promoting her self-titled album 'Delta' and winning over hoards of new fans. Jesse McCartney is also riding high following the release of his latest album 'Departure'.

Coinciding with the new (albeit temporary) on air hosts, Take 40’s online destination take40.com re-launched this week with a brand new look. The top rating music website is now even easier to navigate and search for your favourite songs or artists. The new playlist interface makes creating, arranging, playing and sharing your choice of tunes simple, quick and a whole lot of fun. Visitors to the site can also have their say by commenting on daily news stories.
