The Jonathan Coleman Experience goes Drivetime

21 Jan 2008

Fresh off the back of solid audience growth in the key Sydney and Melbourne
metro markets, The Jonathan Coleman Experience™ has been promoted to the
drive slot on ARN’s Classic Hits Network.
From today, the program, hosted by Jono Coleman and Julia Zemiro will fill the
newly created 5-7pm drive shift.
Recognising the changing work habits and schedules of many Australian families
Classic Hits have taken the innovative move to shuffle the drive programme back
an hour from the traditional 4-6pm period.
ARN Group Programme Director Peter Yiamarelos said “ By moving the new
show to the hours of 5-7 we are better catering to our core listener’s work and
travel habits”.
Dave Carter, General Manager of Radio at mcm entertainment, the media group
who produce The Jonathan Coleman Experience is excited by the move for the
show. “Listener loyalty among the over 25’s continues to climb, with very
promising results for The Jonathan Coleman Experience in the last radio survey.
By way of example, the program ranked number two in previous time slot in
Sydney# and we look forward to an even greater audience share in the new time
this year.”
There is also great news for advertisers with the show adding a new regional
network. Key markets coming on board with this expansion include Bendigo,
Coffs Harbour and Hobart.
Broadcast live 5 days a week on WSFM, Gold FM, 4KQ and an exciting new
regional network, The Jonathan Coleman Experience combines interviews with
entertainment’s biggest stars, competitions, listener interaction and great music in
a variety style programme.
